Opaque black purple colour with deep purple crimson red hue. The nose offers up ripe blackberry, fresh plum and liquorice scents followed by some toasty oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses plenty of fleshy richness with generously textured flavours of blackberries, liquorice and plums to the fore underpinned by some toasty cedar and spicy vanillin confectionary. Very fine grained and well integrated tannins with a medium to long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and spicy toasted vanillin oak.
