2013 Sorrenberg Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose displays a rich aromatic profile of ripe pear alongside a touch of citrus and dried honey characters with some light herbaceous characters and mineral as end notes. The palate carries on from the nose featuring a richly textured mouthfeel with flavours of ripe pears, dried honey and citrus followed by a hint of herbaceousness and some spicy cedar characters on the back palate. Clean dry finish with the acidity perfectly counter pointing the wines rich texture. Long aftertaste of ripe pear, citrus, dried honey, some light herbaceousness and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
