2013 Sons of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz

Magnificent colour displaying an inky black core with a very deep dark purple hue. Intense blackberry and liquorice aromas waft from the glass followed by some smoky cedar and light meatiness finishing with peppery end notes. Rich and fabulously concentrated the palate is brimming with succulent liquorice, black cherry and blackberry flavours overlaid by smoky cedar with following meaty characters and blackpepper. Superb structure and length with solidly built but very fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of blackpepper, liquorice, black cherries, smoky cedar and dried meats.
