2013 Snake & Herring Teardrop Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with a tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lemon and lime aromas are overlaid by some toasty characters with faint dried honey, kero and spice following. The palate is showing some initial signs of development and is beginning to fill out texturally with flavours of citrus, dried honey, lime and toasty kero like characters finishing dry with some flinty minerality on the back palate. Crisp acidity with a long citrus, lime, toasty dried honey, light kero and mineral aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
