2013 Segura Viudas Gran Reserva Brut Vintage Cava

Only produced in good years this Cava spends more than 40 months maturing on lees. A white creamy mousse sits over a pale straw base that has a fine bead and shows excellent persistence. Aromas of fresh apple combine with some baked bread characters, yeast lees, light toast and citrus. The vibrant palate displays flavours of pear, baked bread and yeast lees over light toast and citrusy apple characters. Dry stimulating finish with crisp acidity and an aftertaste of baked pear, light toast, subtle bready yeast lees and citrus.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
