Magnificent colour displaying a super saturated inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. The nose is still quite youthful exhibiting freshly crushed berry scents of Morello cherries, black cherries and liquorice followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Dense and chewy the palate possesses rich black cherry and liquorice flavours alongside some dark plum with underlying spicy vanillin oak. Firm robust tannin structure results in a dry grippy finish. Chewy aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.,br> Cellar 6-8 years.
