2013 Reillys Dry Land Shiraz

Sourced from the 1919 Home Block with 2 years maturation in French and American oak. Magnificent depth of colour displaying a black as night core with an equally deep dark red black hue. Aromatics of liquorice and ripe blackberries waft from the glass followed by dark plum, choc mint and spicy vanillin cedar. Densely textured and super rich the palate is saturated with waves of fruit that includes flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plums over some choc mint, vanillin oak and spice. Plush opulent mouthfeel with velvety tannins that have an underlying sturdiness to their structure. Long aftertaste of dark plum, blackberries, liquorice, subtle choc mint and spicy vanillin oak.
