2013 Reillys Dry Land Old Bush Vine Grenache

Sourced from 94 year old vines with maturation taking place in a mix of French and American oak for a period of 2 years. Deep very dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Heady ripe dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas merge with vanillin oak, earthy confectionary and spice. Plump and rich the palate is filled with black cherry, dark raspberry and liquorice flavours which sit over vanillin oak, earth and spice. Velvety tannins. Excellent depth and concentration with a long lusciously textured aftertaste of ripe dark raspberry, liquorice, dark chocolate, earth and spice. A very ripe juicy Grenache to drink over the next 2-3 years.
