2013 Reillys Dry Land Fortified Shiraz

Magnificent colour with paint like cling to the walls of the glass displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Lifted inky ripe black cherry and liquorice scents are followed by some blackberry, liquorice, brandy spirit and spice. Thick, rich and concentrated with mouthfilling flavours of black cherries, liquorice, blackberry and marzipan are held in check by a firm tannin structure. Dry chewy finish with a long liquorice, marzipan, blackberry liqueur and fine brandy spirit aftertaste. A very youthful vintage port filled with succulent fruit and possessing a firm solid structure.
