2013 Principe Corsini Le Corti Chianti Classico

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark crimson hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with violet and dark cherry scents leading the way over dried herbs, earth and a hint of spicy leather. Light to medium weight and elegantly textured the palate delivers a savoury flavour profile of dark cherries infused with dried herbs underpinned by some earthiness and spicy cedar. Dryish finish with well balanced acidity and finely grained well integrated tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of dark cherries, dried herbs, earth and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
