Superb saturated inky black purple colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Nosing reveals aromas of dark plum, blackberries and liquorice followed by some vanillin confectionary and light pepper end notes. Medium to full bodied and fleshy in texture the palate sports rich flavours of blackberries and liquorice over some vanillin cedar, confectionary and inky spice. Ever so slightly chewy finish with very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper.
