2013 Pepper Tree Cabernet Sauvignon

Fruit for this wine is sourced from the districts of Wrattonbully & Coonawarra. Totally opaque black crimson colour with a deep dark crimson red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackcurrant and choc mint aromas are followed by some bay leaf and light cedar scents. The palate possesses good up front richness and generosity with flavours of dark cherries and spearmint followed by some spicy cedar. Solid relatively firm tannins impart a sense of chewiness on the finish. Aftertaste of dark cherries, spearmint and cedar.
