2013 Paul Conti Mariginiup Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice, black cherry and cracked pepper emerge from the glass with meaty and scorched earth notes following on. Medium to full bodied the generous palate features mouthfilling flavours of liquorice and ripe black cherries over spicy vanillin cedar and pepper. Fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, ripe black cherries, spicy vanillin cedar, dried meats and pepper. A rich, savoury Western Australian Shiraz without excess weight.
