2013 Paracombe Somerville Shiraz

Magnificent colour, still inky black at its core with a deep dark red black hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromatics meld into toasty vanillin cedar, earth and peppered meat notes. Rich and exuberant, the plushly textured palate shows no signs of age, flooded with blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits. Toasty vanillin oak, scorched earth and spicy pepper characters lie in wait on the back half. Very polished yet structured tannins lead into a long powerful finish that’s laden with opulent black fruit.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
