2013 Palliser Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of dark cherries and anise are overlaid by smoky oak with an underlying meatiness also present along with some spicy end notes. Light to medium weight with good power the palate has a savoury flavour profile of dark cherries, dark plum and anise followed by some smoked meats and spice. Very fine grained tannins finishing with a medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, subtle anise, smoked meats and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
