Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrants, Morello cherries and liquorice followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Full bodied and ripe the palate has bold flavours of blackcurrant and dark cherries over some earthy leather and spice background nuances. Dryish finish with slightly firmish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries and earthy leather characters.
