Impenetrable inky black dark purple colour with a very deep dark purple hue. Aromas of inky liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum are to the fore with trailing vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied, lush and rich the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of blackberry liqueur, dark plum and liquorice over some vanillin cedar and spice with things firming up on a dry, chewy finish. Solid firmly built tannin structure with a long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, dark plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
