Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose exhibits spicy dark cherry aromas over earthy forest floor, vanillin cedar and light dried herb notes. Supple dark cherry and ripe strawberry flavours greet the palate with an underlay of earthy forest floor characters, subtle vanillin cedar and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with an earthy dark cherry, ripe strawberry and spicy vanillin cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13.6%

Other Reviews….
You could lean against this and it wouldn't budge. It's dark in colour terms but macerated cherry and plum flavour come sets in spicy tannin, strings of garden herbs tying things firmer still. It's attractive; it's no plodder. You'd bet on it developing well too. Drink by 2024.
