2013 Nanny Goat Vineyard Super Nanny Pinot Noir

Showing good depth of colour this Pinot displays a deep dark red black tinged core with a purple crimson red hue. Nosing reveals pronounced aromas of ripe dark plums, violets and dark cherries intermixed with some anise over a background of cloves and spicy oak. Light to medium weight the palate features a generous flavour profile of dark plums and ripe dark cherries intermixed with some meaty characters and a touch of anise over a background of spicy toasted oak. Solid but fine grained tannins. Good power with a long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dark plum, dried meats and toasty oak.
