Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red purple hue. Lifted ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas overlay dried meats, earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate features succulent blackberry and liquorice flavours intermixed with subtle meaty characters, vanillin cedar and pepper. Very fine grained yet solidly built tannins provide ample structure. Long ripe blackberry, liquorice, vanillin cedar and subtle earthy pepper aftertaste.
