2013 Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Scented blackcurrant and ripe mulberry notes laced with bay leaf rise from the glass with underlying dried herb, toasty cedar and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate has impressive concentration and fruit richness yet remains in the confines of elegance. Flavours of blackcurrant and ripe mulberries with subtle dried herb infusions decorate the palate over a background of subtle bay leaf and spicy vanillin cedar. Good structural feel from the finely grained tannins. Concludes with a long savoury aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberries, subtle dried herb infusions, bay leaf and spicy vanillin cedar.
