2013 Main Divide Pinot Gris

An Outstanding rich full bodied Alsatian styled Pinot Gris.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Intoxicating aromas of ripe pear, honeycomb, musk and tropical fruits bound from the glass followed by some spice end notes. The fruit was picked late in the season with a small amount of noble botrytis, and together with lees aging has further enhanced the wines mouthfeel and complexity. Rich and luscious the palate features a mouthfilling flavour profile of ripe pear, musk, tropical fruits and spicy honeycomb finishing medium dry with some residual sugar present. Thick oily mouthfeel. Excellent length with a long powerful aftertaste of ripe pear, lychee, musk, honeycomb and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2014-2017).
