2013 Long Rail Gully Shiraz

Opaque black red colour with a purple dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of liquorice and dark cherries overlaid by some smoky dried meats and blackpepper. Medium weight and relatively elegant the palate delivers a savoury flavour profile of ripe dark cherries, plum and liquorice followed by some subtle smoky characters, light meatiness and spicy pepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum, liquorice, smoked dried meats and spicy pepper. A smooth and savoury Shiraz.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
