2013 Levantine Hill Syrah

Opaque black crimson colour with a crimson purple hue. The nose reveals aromas of ripe dark cherries and liquorice overlaid by some dried meats and subtle smoky characters with subtle white pepper end notes. Elegantly built the palate features flavours of blackberries, dark cherries and subtle liquorice followed by some peppered meatiness and light smokiness. Very fine grained beautifully integrated tannins. Savoury and long with an aftertaste of dark ripe cherries, subtle liquorice, dried meats, light smokiness and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
