2013 Leconfield Coonawarra Cabernet Merlot

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant intermixed with choc mint over some cedar, faint earth and spice. The palate has good body weight and richness yet remains relatively elegant. Ripe blackcurrant and choc mint flavours are to the fore followed by mulberry, cedar, earth and spice. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Good length with a long aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle choc mint, mulberry and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
