2013 Lawson's Dry Hills Sauvignon Blanc

A portion of this wine was fermented in seasoned French oak barriques. Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense herbaceous gooseberry scents are intermixed with some passionfruit and citrus followed by a grassy asparagus overlay. Light and refreshing the palate has flavours of citrus, herbaceous grassy gooseberry characters and asparagus followed by some mineral infusions on the crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of herbaceous grassy gooseberry, asparagus and mineral.
