Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Intense liquorice and blackberry aromas meld into dark chocolate and vanillin oak with some spicy mocha notes also evident. Opulently textured the full bodied palate is saturated with rich blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours underpinned by vanillin oak, earthy mocha and spice characters. Velvet smooth tannins complete the picture of a full rounded mouthfeel. Excellent concentration and power with a lengthy conclusion.
