Matured for 15 months in French oak. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark purple red hue. The nose opens with dark raspberry top notes followed by some liquorice and dark plum, a hint of earth and spice. Medium weight the palate features good richness and a supple mouthfeel with flavours of spicy dark raspberries, subtle liquorice, smoky oak and earth. Velvet smooth tannins. Long spicy dark raspberry, liquorice, scorched earth and pepper aftertaste.
