Cellar: 6 - 8 Years (2022-2024)

Totally opaque midnight black colour with a dark red-black hue. Pronounced ripe black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas overlay vanillin oak and peppered black olive notes. Rich and chewy the palate is still tightly knit with mouth-filling flavours of black cherries, liquorice and blackberries intermixed with toasty vanillin oak, earthy black olives and spicy pepper. Dry finish with a firm robust tannin structure. Long spicy aftertaste of ripe black cherries, liquorice, earthy black olives, vanillin cedar and black pepper. The firm chewy tannins and vibrant acidity bode well for longer-term cellaring.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc 14%

Other Reviews....
Firm with tannin and alive with promise. It's not the brightest spark but deep pools of blackberried fruit and swirls of firm coffeed tannin make it a monty for sound future development. Drink by 2034.
