2013 Infrequent Flyers Knockdhu Single Cask No.1 8 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

For those who don't know, Knockdhu is mostly marketed as AnCnoc (it's also one of Jim Murray's favourites). This one's been matured 1st-fill ex-bourbon barrel #1, which yielded 210 bottles at 58.9%. The profile should be pretty classic as far as Speysiders go - think 'fruity & malty' with a lick of vanilla.

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Ripe bananas, almonds and vanilla milkshake. Palate: Banoffee pie smothered in custard. A little nutty, with a touch of chilli pepper.
