2013 Hewitson Baby Bush Mourvedre

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of plum and ripe dark cherries overlay some subtle liquorice, scorched earth and spice. Plump and juicy to begin with the palate then firms up on the finish. Flavours of ripe dark plum and liquorice are followed by some earthy characters and spice. Dry, slightly firmish tannins with an aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice and earth.
