Opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Aromas of ripe plum and liquorice are followed by lightly toasted vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with rich plummy flavours alongside some liquorice, subtle dark chocolate and vanillin oak. Fleshy mouthfeel with slightly dryish but otherwise fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak.
