2013 Haselgrove Staff Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted white peach aromas are intermixed with gun flint and struck match characters followed by some biscuity oak and spice. Medium weight the palate has mouthfilling flavours of white peach overlaid by funky struck match characters with underlying biscuity oak and spice. Clean dry fresh finish with a moderate creaminess about the textural feel. Medium to long aftertaste of white peach, flinty struck match characters and spicy biscuity oak.
