A blend of 79% Barossa Merlot and 21% Adelaide Hills Merlot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Scented aromas of ripe blackcurrants and liquorice overlay vanillin cedar, notions of scorched earth and spice. Rich and plush in its mouthfeel the medium to full bodied palate is decorated with ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and subtle plum flavours followed by spicy vanillin cedar and lightly scorched earth. Slightly dryish, grainy tannins with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice, vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spice. A big ripe supplely textured Merlot.
