Deep dark red black colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Very fragrant nose with lifted scents of ripe dark cherries and violets followed by some plum, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has fruity flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum juice over some vanillin cedar with a spicy very dry finish thanks to some chalky tannins. Bright vibrant acidity with an aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, earthy cedar and spice. Needs to be drunk with food.
