2013 Five Geese McLaren Vale Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum jump out of the glass followed by some vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and plushly textured with medium to full body weight the palate is generously endowed with juicy ripe dark plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours with shades of dark chocolate and spicy vanillin cedar also present. Velvet smooth tannins with a youthful fresh finish. Aftertaste of ripe dark plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
