2013 Domaine A Petit a Cabernets

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Elevating out of the glass are aromas of blackcurrant infused with tobacco leaf followed by earthy cedar, leather and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied with a firm tannin structure supporting the blackcurrant fruit, elements of leather, earthy tobacco characters, dried herbs and spicy cedar then move in on the back half. Slightly grippy finish with an elegant yet rustic aftertaste that’s dominated by tertiary characters.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
