Matured in French oak. Opaque black purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose displays inky blackberry and liquorice aromas followed by some dark cherries and vanillin cedar. Very youthful with an inky chewy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of blackberries and liquorice over some spicy vanillin oak. Dryish finish with firm chalky tannins and bright acidity which further enhances the wines compact nature. Moderate aftertaste of inky dark cherries, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
