2013 Cullen Mangan Vineyard Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

32% of this wine was fermented in French oak and barrel aged for a further 5 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals top notes of peach and ripe pear with underlying cedary tones and a hint of citrus and spice as end notes. Light to medium weight and nicely textured the palate has flavours of pear and citrus over some light cedary characters with a touch of spice on the clean dry finish. Aftertaste of pear, citrus and light spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
