2013 Coriole Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep dark crimson red black hue. The nose displays aromas of blackpepper, liquorice and dried meats overlaid by some smoky cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with excellent richness and structure the palate features mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, black cherries and blackberries with a smoky dried meat overlay and peppery finish. Firm yet fine grained tannins give the wine a grippy mouthfeel. Long liquorice, blackberries and smoky peppered dried meats aftertaste. A peppery, meaty and elegant Shiraz.
