Another young Caol Ila hits the shelves. This one should be interesting, swapping the usual Bourbon cask maturation with a spell in a single PX Sherry Octave. 'Sweet' and 'peat' tend to work nicely together (think Lagavulin's Distiller's Edition). Expect smokey sticky date aromas and flavours, dialled to the max. The smaller cask means there's only 65 bottles allocated globally. 50.7% Alc./Vol. Non Chill filtered.
