2013 Chateau de Campuget 1753 Syrah

Opaque black purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. Inky liquorice and scorched earth aromas are followed by some red currant and spicy incense infusions. Light to medium weight with a very elegant feel the palate has flavours of red raspberry and subtle liquorice over some meaty earth like characters and spicy dried herbs. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of earthy red raspberries, faint liquorice and spicy dried herb infusions.
