2013 Carn Mor Strictly Limited Benriach 7 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Tasting note: This copper penny coloured, oloroso-matured Benriach benefits from ample air contact. 3-4 minutes releases the sherry character on the nose; a mix of orange zest, baking spices and fruit cake. Silky textured, medium-bodied, with an attractive spicy fruit cake finish, it offers suggestions of hazelnut and fig through the aftertaste. Moderately sherried and very accessible. 47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 652 bottles produced.

Notes from the bottlers... Very complex whisky with lovely spicey notes, great depth with cedarwood and a moderate nutty finish.
