2013 Cape Jaffa Epic Drop Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Aromas of liquorice and fresh blackberries arise from the glass followed by some dark plum, vanillin cedar and spice. Big and rich in the mouth the palate boasts opulent flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberries over some spicy toasted vanillin cedar with some blackpepper and dried meats on the finish. Slightly chewy mouthfeel on the back palate with fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, toasty oak, dried meats and pepper.
