2013 Cantine Cellaro Due Lune Nero d'Avola Nerello Mascalese

Pitch black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe black cherry and liquorice aromas intermix with Morello cherries, earthy incense and smoky dried herb notes. Rich luscious Morello cherry and liquorice flavours are overwhelmed by a hefty dose of toasty vanillin oak on the back palate. Notions of dried cherries and herbs are also evident. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of charry vanillin oak, ripe Morello cherries, liquorice, subtle earth and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
