Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with a dark crimson black hue. Top notes of liquorice, blackberry and choc mint jump out of the glass with underlying vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium to full in body weight the palate has ample richness and features flavours of choc mint and liquorice over vanillin oak and spice. Very fine grained, slightly dryish tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of choc mint, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
