2013 Buttermans Track Pinot Noir

30% whole bunch was included with maturation taking place in French oak. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. On the nose scents of ripe dark cherries and raspberry are followed by some light toasty cedar and spice. Light to medium weight with plenty of joosy ripe flavours including dark cherries and black raspberries followed by some spicy toasty anise like characters. Soft supple texture showing good power. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long spicy ripe dark cherry, black raspberry and toasty anise aftertaste.
