Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant dark cherry, strawberry, dried herb and anise aromas are overlaid by some vanillin cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is generously flavoured with ripe dark cherry and plum followed by some meatiness, vanillin cedar and spice. Quite supple in the mouth with a very well integrated tannin structure. Good depth with a medium to long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum, vanillin cedar, some dried meats and spice.
