A blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Shiraz and 10% Mataro matured in seasoned oak. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose opens with ripe dark raspberry top notes which sit alongside some dark plum, a hint of liquorice and vanillin confectionary aromas. Medium bodied the juicy palate has plenty of spice to it with ripe dark raspberry and plum flavours to the fore over a touch of liquorice and earthy incense infusions. Finishes with plenty of spice. Finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark raspberries, subtle liquorice, earthy incense and spice.
