Opaque dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. Aromas of liquorice and blackberries meld into some vanillin oak with light pepper end notes. Medium bodied the palate possesses generous blackberry and liquorice flavours which sit over a back drop of spicy vanillin oak and subtle pepper. Soft supple mouthfeel with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, spicy vanillin oak and pepper.
